AQUAGUARD 2240

AQUAGUARD 2240 is a non-oxidizing, liquid,  antimicrobial formulation with a broad spectrum of biocide activity, used in open cooling tower systems as well as in swimming pools and ornamental ponds and features. It is designed to prevent the growth of biofilms on heat exchangers and evaporative surfaces and to control the number of planktonic microorganisms in the bulk fluid.

AQUAGUARD 2240 is used to maintain non-bio fouled systems in that condition and also to control planktonic activity. AQUAGUARD 2240 is shot dosed manually or automatically at 250 ml/m3 of system capacity for routine microbiological control. Frequency of dosing will normally be weekly but will depend upon the operating characteristics of the particular plant, such as its tendency to bio foul and its retention time and will be determined by SWTC.
